About

A cyber security professional with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and experience. Very self-driven, motivated, and organized individual who is always learning new things and keeping up with the latest and best cyber security practices.

I strive to make lasting contributions to each workplace. Whether it is web development, creating employee information security training, writing technical documentation for business continuity, or even creating marketing materials, I am a dedicated team member focused on both long and short term goals.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Internet of Things (IoT) Engineering focusing in cyber security and embedded systems from Florida International University and will soon be completing a BS in Electrical Engineering. The IoT degree is a brand new program at FIU that aligns very closely with its computer and electrical engineering tracks. I had the honor of graduating from FIU as Cum Laude and with a World’s Ahead recognition.

When I am not neck deep into a new project or drowning in coursework, I am usually outdoors and being active. I enjoy off-roading my 4×4 vehicle and riding trails with my mountain bike at the local parks. I love road trips and escaping life on the weekends to explore a new park. I also love kayaking and paddleboarding, and heading out to the sandbar with my friends for some sun and fun.

I started this cyber security blog to help motivate other students seeking a similar career path, and also to educate those who are not familiar with the cyber security space. Cyber security needs to be talked about from early on, even in K-12 institutions. With more awareness, we can all help prevent and fight cybercrime.

I hope that the resources and articles on this blog will inspire, teach, and protect.
